I develop an individualized curriculum of note reading/tablature reading and theory as applied to music the student is interested in. I make sure there is time for fun stuff in every lesson to keep student motivated to practice and learn more. We usually spend the first half of the lesson learning and reviewing the "meat and potatoes" of note reading/theory, etc. and spend the last half on dessert ( something the student has picked from a cd or the internet).
I have an easygoing manner, and try to encourage each student to simply do their best. I accept students of all ages and abilities and would welcome the opportunity to help you create a personalized program of study that fits your learning style and your goals as a guitarist.
