feen
boyett
feen
boyett is an instrumental group that is the result of many years of
musical collaboration between Bob Gentry
and our mojine boy, Brady Mosher,
and their mutual love of the rhythms and sounds of Mexico, South America
and the Caribbean as well as their native North American R&B, Jazz, and
Country music.
This
"New World Music" embraces a wide variety of stylistic ideas and improvisational
elements with melodies and harmonies voiced primarily on acoustic guitars,
(Brady Mosher and Milo Deering), fiddle, mandolin and steel guitar.(Milo
Deering). Rhythms are propelled by the supple grooves of Clay Jurenka
on drums, Charles Barnett's percussion and Bob Gentry on electric and
acoustic basses. Ignoring category lines and communicating on a soul-u-lar
level to a diversity of listeners is what feen boyett is all about.

Sally
Semrad
"Raw
emotion with the voice of a delicate angel or a wailing banshee
. . . powerful songs of love and loss"
"...
can also describe Semrad's style -- part alternative country, Texas style,
and part California-style roots-rock, with a voice that is equal parts
gravel road and new-laid asphalt."
Brady
produced her debut cd as well as co-writing and producing songs for an
upcoming one. Stay tuned for possible DFW gigs together in the fall.
